Probate court processes the assets of persons who have died, makes sure all debts are paid, and beneficiaries of the estate receive their inheritance.  If a person has a will, the will is the roadmap the court follows.  If a person has no will, the court follows various Ohio statutes in determining how the estate assets are distributed.
